As State Representative, Slezak's priorities include:
- Providing a World-Class Education – Slezak's highest priority will be to ensure that our children are receiving a quality education. Slezak will be a tireless supporter of efforts to strengthen our schools.
- Strengthening and Transforming our Economy – Slezak will work to create jobs and gainfully employ our superior work force, while attracting new businesses that will grow our economy and help us retain Michigan's young talent.
- Fixing our Roads – Slezak will make certain that Genesee County receives its fair share from Lansing to repair our crumbling roads and bridges.
