State Representative Jim Slezak (Davison) welcomes Olen Ham to the Michigan House of Representatives on March 26, 2009. Ham, seen wearing his "original sit-downer" jacket, was a member of the famous 'sit down strike' of 1936-1937 at General Motors' Fisher Body Factory Plant No. 1, which resulted in the birth of the UAW.
